On June 12, a Bannock and Tea event was organized by Verona Woods in Strathmore. Warren Drunken Chief began with a prayer and gave a brief overview of Blackfoot tradition. Janice Randhile, who works closely with families impacted by Missing Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW), then delivered a film to raise awareness of MMIW. Thank you for allowing us to snap pictures! More than grateful for the discussions that took place and for hearing other people’s perspectives on MMIW!
