From leaky taps to handy fixes—Siksika Nation members learned it all at the Basic Home Maintenance Workshop hosted by Siksika Housing

A big thank you to Eric Redgun and Douglas Breaker for sharing their knowledge and giving our community hands-on experience. 🍴 Lunch was beautifully provided by Monique Sleigh and Tummy Town Catering—delicious as always!

We’d also like to give special thanks to Sadey Blackhorse, Marilynn Littlechief, and the entire Housing team for making this opportunity possible for Nation members. 💛

Sadey Blackhorse Shared 🗣️: “A big thank you to everyone who makes our workshops a success! Special thanks to Mase S. for capturing the moments, it’s so great to have someone else behind the camera who genuinely cares about our members’ growth. Shout-out to our facilitators, whose passion makes every workshop exciting and impactful. I’m also grateful for the babysitters who help make these events accessible, and Tummy Town Catering for always delivering amazing food with a smile. One of my favorite parts is seeing the smiles and hearing the laughs, it’s a reminder of why we do this. The connections, the learning, the growth, it’s all worth it. Thank you to everyone involved. You all make these moments possible!”
