Building Strong Bodies and Strong Futures: Inside the Siksika Youth Fitness Program

The Siksika Youth Fitness Program is supporting and inspiring our youth by encouraging healthy movement, confidence, and positive routines. Youth ages 12 and up are coming together in a welcoming and supportive environment to stay active, learn new skills, and strengthen both body and mind.

Participants are engaging in a variety of exercises throughout each session, including strength training, cardio, stretching, and functional movements designed for all fitness levels. These activities help build endurance, coordination, and overall physical literacy while promoting teamwork and self-confidence. The program focuses on progress, consistency, and creating healthy habits that can last a lifetime.

The Siksika Youth Fitness Program takes place Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00–6:00 PM at the Deerfoot Sportsplex Gymnasium and runs from January 19 to March 31, 2026. There is no cost to participate, and a parent or guardian waiver must be completed prior to participation.
