Today, Siksika Media had the honour of attending the meet & greet at the Siksika Elders Lodge. Our Elders have always been the heart of Siksika — carrying our language, teachings, history, and strength through generations. It is critical that we listen to our Elders, learn from them, and uplift their voices, as they continue to guide our Nation with wisdom and love. We are grateful for the time shared and the stories gifted today.

Stephen Yellow Old Woman Shared : “today was an exceptional day here with the elders, it really helped them put a face to who we are and visit with them firsthand and connecting with them personally and that’s what I really enjoyed here and just one on one with them it was a really good, good day on that note.”
