ABOUT

Siksika Media

Siksika Media is a department of the Siksika Nation Tribal Administration, dedicated to sharing the voices, stories, and culture of the Siksika Nation. Established over 25 years ago, Siksika Media began with a monthly newsletter and the launch of a low-power 10-watt radio station, both created to inform and connect the community.

Today, those early efforts have grown into two key platforms: Aitsiniki Magazine and CFXX 104.7 FM. Together, they continue to serve the Siksika Nation by delivering news, events, programs, and cultural content—proudly promoting and preserving the Siksika (Blackfoot) language and Siksika culture for current and future generations.

Aitsiniki is the Blackfoot word to describe someone telling a story.

Aitsiniki Magazine

Aitsiniki Magazine, published by Siksika Media—a department of the Siksika Nation Tribal Administration—continues to serve as a vital platform for sharing news, stories, upcoming events, and information about programs and services.

The magazine is available in print at various locations throughout Siksika Nation and online at aitsinki.com.
