Big shoutout to Grant Blackhorse Jr. for his dedication to creating safe spaces and opportunities for our youth to succeed, and to Landon McHugh and the North Blackfoot Basketball Warriors for teaming up with the drop-in to teach and inspire our future basketball stars

Grant Blackhorse Jr. Shared : “it’s actually been going really good. The first night we had 30 youth, and then the next one we had 48 and then our last one yesterday, we had 20. So we’ve been averaging about 30 youth and I’m expecting to get 60 youth, if possible, if I can get to 100, that’d be amazing. My whole goal is to have a safe place for these youth, mainly the teens, mainly teens to come out and have a safe place to hang out, make friends, interact because most of these kids don’t have a safe place at home, or they just fear going home, they don’t want to go home. And this is a good time for them to just unwind from a hard day at school, a hard day at home. And it’s not really programming right now, like hard stuff, like you see out from the community, it’s mainly just for them to chill out and get them under their anxiety and be at their friends.”
