This summer, the Siksika Group of Companies (SGOC) invited community members and leadership to participate in a survey about investing in the future. The goal was to better understand how SGOC can support long-term prosperity while honouring and preserving Siksika culture, values, and traditions.
Survey participants identified key priorities such as long-term wealth creation, employment opportunities, economic self-sufficiency, education, youth development, and transparent governance. Many also emphasized that future business decisions should reflect Siksika values, including respect for the land, responsible stewardship, accountability, and cultural preservation.
The feedback received will help guide SGOC’s investment decisions as we work toward a stronger, more sustainable future for Siksika Nation. We encourage all community members to continue sharing their voices by participating in future engagement opportunities and surveys.
