Siksika Media had a wonderful time on Community Wise 17th Ave at the IRT7 Paint Night Workshop! A huge thank you to Tyra, Jacie, and the rest of their colleagues for being so gracious and welcoming to Siksika Media throughout the evening. Special thanks as well to Sikapinakii Lowhorn for facilitating such an inspiring and creative workshop for the community. 
The workshop encouraged youth to explore their goals, dreams, and future through art by reflecting on the question, “If you could design your future, what would it look like?” Participants learned painting techniques while creating meaningful artwork that reflected their aspirations and Indigenous youth voices. Youth participants were given the option to contribute their paintings to their youth centred Drop-in space, helping to create an environment that is shaped by and representative of indigenous youth voices and creativity.
