Crowfoot Elementary School Celebrates End of the Year Powwow

Crowfoot Elementary School celebrated its End of the Year School Powwow on June 18, bringing together students, staff, families, and community members to mark the conclusion of the 2025–2026 school year.

The annual school powwow provided students with an opportunity to celebrate Blackfoot culture through song, dance, and tradition while recognizing another successful year of learning and growth. Families and community members gathered to support the students as they showcased their regalia, danced alongside one another, and celebrated the importance of culture within the school community.

Throughout the day, the school was filled with excitement as students of all ages participated in the celebrations. The event highlighted the importance of keeping Blackfoot traditions alive while creating lasting memories for students before the start of summer break.

School powwows continue to play an important role in strengthening cultural identity and bringing together students, educators, families, and the community. Events like these provide youth with opportunities to learn, celebrate, and take pride in their culture while creating a welcoming environment for everyone in attendance.

Congratulations to Crowfoot Elementary School on another successful school year, and thank you to everyone who helped organize and support this year’s End of the Year School Powwow.
