Brandon Good Eagle Bio
Oki, iitaamikskanaotoni (Hello, Good morning!) My name is Brandon Good Eagle, my
parents are Conrad Good Eagle and Tanya Rabbit Carrier, and my Grandparents are Leonard and
Ann Marie Good Eagle, and the late Kenneth Rabbit Carrier and Ina Maguire.
I’m attending the Mount Royal University in Calgary and now in my 2nd/3rd year. I am in
the Health and Physical Education program and majoring in the Sports and Recreation
Management. I love playing sports and being active when I can! I recently started playing men’s
fastpitch in 2022 in the Calgary Industrial Softball Association league and also been competing
in the Canadian Native Fastball Championship since then. Our first year we won the B division
playoffs and won a gold medal at the Softball Alberta Provincials in the intermediate men’s
fastpitch. Last year at the Canadian Native Fastball Championship my team, the Treaty 7
Athletics placed top 6 in the tournament. My favorite sports teams are the Milwaukee Brewers,
Toronto Blue Jays, Vancouver Canucks, and Calgary Flames. During my spare times, I love to
play my drums as I am very passionate about my music, I love to read and watch different
manga/anime series and play video games.
I’m looking forward to this summer as this job is something different then I’m used to
and i’m excited for the new experience to gain. I’m very thankful for this opportunity and i hope
to meet new faces and see the community more up close.

Syrianna Running Rabbit Bio
Oki my name is Apatapiim, my government name is Syrianna Running Rabbit and I am currently
a summer student with the Siksika media. My parents are Brendin and Stacey Running Rabbit,
and my grandparents are Morris and Myrna Running Rabbit.
Before I attended post secondary I was a developmental aid at Siksika’s Headstart program, and
volunteered at Chief Old Sun elementary school. Recently I just finished my second year
studying early childhood education at Buffalo State University in New York State, where I play
for both the women’s ice hockey and women’s field lacrosse teams at the collegiate level. When I
return home for the summers I play box lacrosse with the Junior Female Silvertips and U22
Female Team Alberta. Last season I won gold at the U22 National Box Lacrosse Championship
that was held in Halifax Nova Scotia. I have also had the pleasure of competing in the Canada
Summer Games (2022), National Aboriginal Hockey Championships (2023), and the North
American Indigenous Games(2023).
I am looking forward to spending the summer connecting with community members.

Haydence Many Bears
Hello, my name is Hadence Many Bears, and i am one of the new post-secondary summer students at Siksika Media. I will be working with the administration team, and I am excited for the opportunity to learn new skills, gain valuable experience, and grow both personally and professionally.
I am currently a student at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (Sait), where I am completing prerequisites towards my goal of becoming an ultrasound technician. I have always been interested in the science behind healthcare and enjoy learning about how medical technology can help support and care for people.
A little more about me: I’m 22 years old, and I dance women’s traditional. I enjoy working out, especially the hit of dopamine after it all lol. I also love being outdoors, going for walks in nature and reading fiction books. Movies have a special place in my heart because it is nice to escape into a different world for a while.
I look forward to meeting new people, building meaningful connections, and making the most of this opportunity at Siksika Media.
