The Siksika Nation Fair 2026 once again brought the community together for an unforgettable weekend filled with culture, competition, and celebration.
Throughout the weekend, community members and visitors gathered to enjoy one of Siksika Nation’s most anticipated annual events. The fair featured a vibrant powwow, exciting handgames, competitive basketball and baseball tournaments, and an action-packed rodeo, offering something for everyone to enjoy.
The powwow welcomed dancers, singers, drummers, and spectators from across Indian Country, celebrating the traditions and culture of the Blackfoot people. Throughout the weekend, the arbor was filled with beautiful regalia, powerful songs, and outstanding dance performances across all age categories.
Away from the arbor, handgames brought together teams in spirited competition, while the basketball and baseball tournaments showcased the talent and sportsmanship of athletes from across the region. The rodeo also provided thrilling entertainment as competitors demonstrated their skills in front of enthusiastic crowds.
Beyond the competitions and events, the Siksika Nation Fair continued its tradition of bringing families, friends, and community members together. It was a weekend filled with reconnecting, creating new memories, and celebrating the strength of Siksika Nation.
