Oki Siksika,
Moments Fest brought the music this past weekend. Did you get a chance to catch any of the performances? We stopped by Sunday to see Calgary alt-pop band SHY FRIEND and Edmonton groove metal band, Tatara.
The annual music festival was organized by former Siksika Nation councillor Carlin Black Rabbit, who has brought music to Siksika for 10 years. Moments Fest introduces exciting acts to the Siksika Nation, bringing artists from all over North America. It also featured Siksika bands Ekkohs and Pollux, among a few.
The headliner for the festival was Canadian hardcore punk band, Comeback Kid.
Happy 10 years, Carlin and Siksika rockers!
