Oki Siksika! This past weekend, we hosted our annual dog & cat wellness clinic at the Piiksapi Arbour, encouraging community members to bring their pets for spaying and neutering. Here’s a look back at the amazing weekend!
Day 1: We kicked things off with orientation, then spent the day with Norm Jr. Running Rabbit from Siksika Animal Services. Thanks to Norm, the animal whisperer, we got a behind-the-scenes look at community outreach and learned so much! (Video to come soon! 📹) We’ve also included some photos of the setup process, plus a few candid and extra shots that captured the spirit of the day!
Day 2: Frontline day! We were busy at reception and intake, registering pets and welcoming nation members dropping off their furry friends.
Day 3: It was all about the cats! We cared for our feline friends and helped nation members pick up their pets. Later, the CATF staff & volunteers wrapped up by taking down the clinic and tidying the arbour.
A huge thank you to Siksika Animal Services, the numerous volunteers, and to the Canadian Animal Task Force for bringing this vital clinic to Siksika. Thank you for all your hard work in helping keep our pet population healthy and happy.
