The year 2025 marks a heartfelt milestone — 40 years of the Elders Lodge, a place built on the foundation of love, tradition, and lifelong connection since its opening in 1985.
To honour this incredible journey, Media Specialist Mase Scarlet and summer student Lexxington Manyheads explored the archives to uncover powerful images and stories spanning four decades. With thoughtful guidance from Floria and Kory Duckchief and Patsy Bearchief, they helped identify and honour the many cherished faces, names, and memories that have shaped the Lodge’s legacy.
Each photo captured reflects more than just a moment — it tells a story of community, resilience, and the wisdom of our Elders passed down through generations. As we celebrate this anniversary, we honour not only the past, but the strength and spirit that continues to guide us forward.
