Siksika Media
Siksika Media is a department of the Siksika Nation Tribal Administration that started over 25 years ago with just a monthly newsletter available to Siksika Nation members. Around that same time a small very low power (10 watts) radio station was also introduced to the Nation. Both forms of media have grown over the years and proudly showcase and promote the Siksika (Blackfoot) language and Siksika culture.
Aitsiniki is the Blackfoot word to describe someone telling a story.
Aitsiniki Magazine
Aitsiniki began as a newsletter for the Siksika Nation Tribal Administration highlighting Siksika Nation news, resources, and events for Nation members and has evolved into a monthly magazine.
Published by Siksika Media, a department of the Siksika Nation Tribal Administration, Aitsiniki Magazine continues to serve as a platform to share news, stories, upcoming events, programs and services.
